| BRAND NEW SITE AMONGST OTHER THINGS - Monday, June 4, 2007 |
So many of you may be wondering what I've been up to since I moved out to New York. Needless to say I've been busy. I'm happy to announce my east coast arrival and the launch of version four of 33rpm. It's very much like the last one, but all of my projects have been retouched, sharpened and optimized for a great web experience. It's taken me a long time to get this site up, partly due to the amount of new projects I have undertaken, thinking about the new directions I want to go in, and generally getting settled in my new surroundings. Right now I'd like to thank everyone who I'm currently working with and their level of patience with me, especially those who recently ordered posters in the past few months. My new office is at 3rd Ward in the industrial zone of Williamsburg. It's an enormous converted warehouse space meant to provide creative professionals with affordable facilities and resources. I'm hoping to start teaching courses there sometime later this summer. They also throw great parties. I'll be presenting my work and speaking at their open house this Saturday, June 9th, sometime in the afternoon. Besides my normal workload I'm working on a new body of non-commercial work, hopefully finding a gallery that's interested in showing, but not till later this year. Beyond visual work I'm devoting a good portion of my time as a DJ and a bit of music production. Something I've already been doing, but as an enthusiast. Lastly I'd like to sincerely thank all of my friends that have given me so much love and support, especially those currently in Seattle or once called it home. To my newfound friends and friends to be, I'm here now so let's kick it sometime. |
